BookGive Helps the Helpers
BookGive donates to our nonprofit partners so they can fulfill their missions.
The best feeling is when, just by doing the thing you love, you end up helping someone else.
That’s what BookGive does every day. In the last few months of this year, BookGive donated hundreds of books to our nonprofit partners. Our book donations made their jobs easier.
BookGive brought two cases of new books to The Action Center for their annual Holiday Gift Shop where people shop for loved ones and everything is free. A Precious Child also received hundreds of new children’s books for their Precious Gift event. Free books relieved some of our neighbors of the burden of wondering how they were going to afford gifts this year.
Bienvenidos Food Bank received two boxes of new and gently used books to replenish their shelves, so that when people come to pick up much needed food, they can also pick up food for the mind and soul. Having free books available shows that Bienvenidos cares about the whole person.
The I Have a Dream Foundation came to the service station to pick up four cases of new books for their school support programs. Teaching is easier when children have quality books.
Couldn’t these organizations just receive book donations directly?
Of course they can and many do. And, BookGive is here to help the helpers, to take out the step of dealing with book donations and figuring out what to do with them. That’s our specialty and we love it!
Our mission is to spark the lifelong love of reading. Many nonprofits aligned with our mission need our help. BookGive is here to help the helpers do what they do best by doing what we do best.
