How to Donate

Donate your new and nearly new books! We’ll make sure they find their way into the hands of people—your neighbors—who would LOVE to read them.

Book donations are accepted during the following hours:

TUE: 9am-12pm
WED: 9am-12pm
FRI: 9am-12pm
SAT: 9am-12pm

We accept books in GOOD condition. Think GIFTABLE! We especially need books in Spanish and diverse books.

When you arrive at the service station, back your car up to the first bay and we’ll help you unload your donation. Receipt available for tax purposes.

Want to host a book drive?

We’d love to partner with your organization, club, or business to gather up amazing books! Let’s work together so we collect more of the kinds of books we can actually place in the community.

Book Drive Guidelines

  1. Contact us first! We can provide logos, flyers, and marketing materials. AND, very importantly, we can staff up our volunteer team to receive your donation when the time comes. We can even send you links for folks who would rather purchase new books or simply offer financial support.
  2. Review our book donation protocols above and include these in your book drive emails, flyers. It’s a huge waste of your time and ours if you schlep hundreds of books we can’t use.
  3. Box ‘em up. To help our volunteers, please bring your books in closed boxes that average people can lift. Open boxes and too heavy boxes are a safety concern.
  4. Schedule your delivery. So that we have enough volunteers, please contact us to coordinate your delivery day and time.
