Nicole is the founder and President of BookGive. She started this organization after hosting an annual community book exchange for a decade. She also owned and operated BookBar, a bookstore wine bar, for ten years until closing it in January 2023 after purchasing Denver's iconic fifty-year-old bookstore, The Bookies in 2021. Nicole and her husband, Ryan, recently relocated The Bookies to its new home at 2085 S. Holly St. She divides her working time between overseeing operations at both BookGive and The Bookies. When not working tirelessly to promote literacy and book access, she loves spending time with her husband, their two teens Jack and Stella, a couple of tiny dogs, and a big cat. Nicole enjoys fitness, cooking, travel, adventure. Obviously, she LOVES to read.
