Dana has served as an educator for more than 20 years in several roles including a classroom teacher, instructional coach, district coordinator, and state literacy specialist. He is currently a consultant (a.k.a. ‘professional reading nerd') after starting his own firm — Sterling Literacy Consulting. However, his most important roles are as husband to Christine, and father to Grace, Harper, Estella, and Charlie. A book that has significantly impacted his life is To Kill A Mockingbird (as evidenced by his second daughter’s name)!
