Jonathan Goldberg

Director

Jonathan brings more than four decades of leadership experience spanning nonprofit organizations, public service, healthcare, environmental stewardship, and wellness.

As the owner of Grateful Massage & Wellness West, LLC, he provides holistic therapeutic bodywork while continuing a longstanding commitment to community service through volunteer and pro bono care.

Jonathan has served on numerous nonprofit Boards of Directors, including Boston Area Gleaners, where he helped advance innovative solutions to food insecurity and sustainable agriculture. He also served on the Board of Boston Educators for Social Responsibility and was a co-founder of the non-profit Sharon, Massachusetts Dog Park.

An educator throughout his career, Jonathan has developed and taught programs in therapeutic massage, healthy buildings, and creating service learning opportunities, including partnering with healthcare organizations and academic institutions to improve care for underserved populations with the Boston Healthcare for the Homeless Program and Simmons University. He holds a Master’s degree in Administration and has been a Board Certified Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork Practitioner for more than 20 years.

Jonathan is honored to volunteer with BookGive and looks forward to supporting the organization’s unique mission, participating in Book Mobile events and delivering boxes of books (and joy) to our partners. You can often find him joyfully reading story and board books to his two grandchildren.
